Most lead companies won't tell you how the sausage is made because the answer is “we bought a list.” Here's ours, in order, including the parts we're not good at.
Week one
We check your zip codes against what we're already running. If your area is taken, that's the end of the call and we'll say so. If it's open, we talk about what you install, what you charge, and how many jobs you can actually absorb.
Card payment, one link, one number. There is no setup fee and no ad budget on top — the ad spend comes out of what you paid us, not out of your pocket a second time.
Which numbers should get the enquiries, your email, your service radius, and the work you want weighted toward. Takes about four minutes.
Creative, targeting, zip filtering and the qualification questions, aimed at your area. Usually live within a day or two of onboarding.
Typically 48 to 72 hours from the campaign going live. Mike's first one came three hours in. That is not normal and we're not going to pretend it is.
Qualification
The quiz is deliberately a bit of work, and most people who start it never finish. That is the product. We are not trying to hand you the largest possible pile of names — we are trying to hand you the ones who will pick up the phone and book an estimate.
| Question | Why it's in there |
|---|---|
| Floor type | Separates a garage from a warehouse from a basement, so you know which van to load before you ring. |
| Square footage | You can price it roughly in your head before the call connects. |
| Concrete condition | Cracking, pitting, moisture. Tells you whether prep is a morning or two days. |
| Budget range | The one that filters hardest. People who pick the lowest bracket are told what the work actually costs. |
| Timeline | “This month” and “sometime next year” are different phone calls. |
| Who signs off | Stops you quoting a tenant, or one half of a couple who hasn't asked the other half. |
At the end of the quiz they enter their mobile number and we text a code to it. They type the code back to submit. No code, no enquiry, and no charge to you. This is why the numbers we send you connect — a fake number can't receive a code.
Text and email, in real time, to as many numbers as you want at no extra cost. Give us the office number and two crew phones if you like. No portal, no dashboard, no login and no app to remember the password for.
The part that's on you
We hand you a homeowner who has just told a stranger their budget and their timeline. That intent has a shelf life measured in hours, not days.
Same enquiries, same qualification, same verification. The spread between 21% and 61% is almost entirely how fast the phone gets picked up and what happens in the first two minutes of the call. If callbacks are your weak spot, say so on our call — we'd rather size the pack around the truth.
Replaced free
Text Dino inside 48 hours and it's replaced free. No portal, no ticket, no call recordings, no five-day review. Those three are the whole list.
Nobody can sell you a homeowner guaranteed to say yes. A company that promises that is either lying or is going to fight you on every ticket. We replace what we control, and we're up front about where that line sits.
Pacing
On Standard and Scale we pace the enquiries across the month so you're not handed fifteen in one week and none in the next three. If you get buried, text us and we throttle it the same day. One client asked us to go slow for two weeks and ramp up at the end of the month while he finished a warehouse job. That's a normal request, not a favour.
Coating demand tracks the weather — spring and early autumn are the heavy months in most markets, because that's when cure conditions cooperate. We plan pack timing around your climate rather than pretending December in Minnesota looks like May.
We check your zip codes live on the call. If the territory is taken you'll know inside five minutes and we won't try to sell you the county next door unless you ask.
